​Funciones

• We are looking for experienced leaders to stabilize and manage all aspects of the operation of a new highly automated 1300 tonne/day Kadent OCC plant feeding a modern, high-speed containerboard machine. 

• Leadership of the operating, engineering, and maintenance personnel supporting the safe operation of the plant. (24 operators).

• Development of the personnel in terms of process learning and team and individual development.

• Process optimization and reliability improvement of the plant.    

• Once stabilized, management and improvement of the process to deliver the highest quality and lowest cost fiber to support the paper machine operation.

• Permanent.

• Attractive Remuneration.

• This is a position for a 24-7, 355 day a year operation.   (Weekend, after-hours, and holiday coverage will be expected).

 

Experiencia

• Minimum 5 years practical experience operating and managing a modern OCC plant suitable for production of high quality containerboard.

 

Formación

• Engineer.

 

Requisitos​

• Skills Required:   Theory and operation of modern OCC plant.   Process troubleshooting skills.   Supervisory skills and leadership skills.  Complete commitment to safe operating including willingness to confront.   Spanish OR English skills.​

• Skills Desired:   Spanish highly preferred.  English preferred.  Teaching/Mentoring.  Good written and graphical arts skills to develop process procedures and troubleshooting information.   Computer operation including DCS and Data Historian and Trending.  Large project startup experience.
