​Funciones

• We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Product Design Engineer (Mechanical PDE) who will ensure,  together with the Product Engineering Master, the technical feasibility of  the product during the offer and development stages in accordance with our methodology in the Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) projects and Mirrors projects. They will apply  the  standardized  solutions  and  Lessons  Learnt in all the development  processes  of  the  product  for  all the business unit clients. The main funtions carried out are:

  • Carry  out the design reviews under the supervision of the Master in Design.

  • Ensure   the   development  and  prototypes  delivery  according  to customer/FDS milestones.

  • Participate in the product and process FMEA’s.

  • Analyze  the  results of the product technical test reports and find the  necessary technical countermeasures solutions together with the Quality Design Engineer.

  • Work with manufacturing teams in the products industrialization.

  • Manage effectively the product modifications during the development.

  • Support  the  competitiveness  of the business unit improving costs, quality  and  product  performance, adopting new technical solutions coming from competitors’ analysis and benchmark.

  • Cooperate   with  Purchasing  dept.  and  suppliers  to  ensure  the optimization  of  the  components  in  terms  of  cost,  quality and manufacturability.

  • Ensure the CAD (3D & 2D) design development.

  • Propose Technical Lessons Learned (industrialization phase).

  • Deal   with   the  client  engineering  for  an  effective  products development.

Experiencia

• 3 years of experience in the design mechanical engineering.

• Experience in CAD design development, industrialization phase and quality and test issues.

 

Formación

• Engineer (Diplom, Bachelor, Master) in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable course of studies.

 

Requisitos​

• High ability to engage in dialogue with other Stakeholders as the Quality Design Department, the T&V Department, CAD Technicians, etc.

• Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills in English and/or German.

• Desired Automotive experience.
