Funciones

  • Responsible for coordinating the efforts of the scheduling team to create, maintain, and produce schedule indicators from project initiation through construction and commissioning .

  • Report to the Scheduling Department Manager and will work working directly with Schedulers, Project Superintendents, Project Managers, and Construction Managers , input status updates, incorporate changes & delays, and analyze project progress.

  • Responsible for preparing presentations, and schedules to communicate with various audiences, including subcontractors and clients.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Track critical activities and changesto the critical path impacting the project.

    • Keep an eye on program milestones and interdependencies.

    • Provide information on items impacting the project schedule.

    • Responsible for spotting the critical path, as well as proffering alternatives to regain slippage to the schedule.

    • Strategize ways to negotiate claims, including office overhead, labor, and equipment costs.

    • Responsible for providing technical support in claims litigation.

    • Document changes integrated into the project schedule.

    • Provide a summary and report on project progress.

    • Spot project risks and include impact analysis for review by project team.

    • Responsible for maintaining current and standardized job files.

    • Prepares Monthly Time Schedule reports.

    • Develops and implements scheduling systems and standards for the Program including progress measurement and reporting.

    • Establishes and updates Master Permitting Schedule.

    • Provides technical scheduling support and coordinates training needs for schedulers.

    • Coordinates Program wide scheduling practices on Projects.

    • Coordinates troubleshooting of interface issues with other consultants and the contractor time schedules.

    • Contributes in preparation of Monthly and weekly executive reports.

Experiencia

  • At least 20 years in a similar position.

  • Experience in using scheduling software.

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office programs.

 

Formación

  • Construction Management or Engineering degree.
